There’s a 40 -mile- long convoy of Russian armor moving towards Kiev.

US congress members shocked by secret briefing estimating rapid fall of major cities in Ukraine.

This is on CNN.

I don’t want to see footage of old ladies getting gunned down as they try to throw half-assed Molotovs made by children at fucking tanks. This is insane and the insanity of Ukrainian and western politicians cheerleading the people of Ukraine into a suicidal last stand just to give Putin a bloody nose is sickening.

Pillager - 2022-02-28

It'll be interesting to see how much higher NATO membership climbs in the coming months...

SolRo - 2022-02-28

I’ll be happy if there’s a nato and a Russia or any other country in the coming months

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2022-02-28

Same guy, day 5 is up.

casualcollapse - 2022-03-01

I just found out that ROBUX are worth more than the Ruble.. So that's something

decoy - 2022-03-01

And at what point does the ruble become so worthless that the Russian people actually start to contemplate taking ownership of their own country? Is that ever going to be a thing? Or just other peoples' countries? Hitler financed the entirety of the Reich with the spoils of war. Is Putin hellbent on taking other peoples' stuff simply because the Russian people never figured out how to make their own fucking stuff? Their productivity sucks, their innovations sucks, they make nothing except threats and warfare. We have to collectively crush their economy to dust so that maybe their citizens will wake the fuck up and react appropriately for once in their twisted history.

Crackersmack - 2022-03-01

hey decoy when are you joining the Marines so you can go fight in this war that you want so badly

Cena_mark - 2022-03-01

Tetris was cool

decoy - 2022-03-01

Don't need Marines in economic warfare. Eliminate the SWIFT energy cutouts and they'll be forced to come to their senses all on their own.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

So the plan was Russian regime change all along.

And collective punishment for civilians until the “totally organic democratic” revolution is declared by CIA stooges.

Also war crimes aren’t war crimes as long as your on the wests side.

mustard - 2022-03-01

Reading your comments, SolRo, I have learnt that this situation is everyones fault but the Russians. Also that decoy is an international mastermind whose plans and desire for regime change dictates geopolitics.

Crackersmack - 2022-03-01

it's not even Russian regime change it's about starting another Afghanistan war so that military contractors can have another bottomless well of contracts to draw from

decoy - 2022-03-01

Putin is the mastermind of his own regime change, mustard. And I am but a simple tailor.

decoy - 2022-03-01

SolRo you must be operating from a Russian troll farm to be making any personal sense. The only plan here is a multi-pronged Russian attack on Ukrainian cities.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

Well I’m certainly glad to get your expert analysis since you started paying attention to the region a week ago.

Nominal - 2022-03-01

What do you think is the proper response to full scale Russian invasion?

SolRo - 2022-03-01

Don’t do shit that forces a full scale Russian invasion, because now neither side will back down because it doesn’t want to be seen as losing or capitulating.

ashtar. - 2022-03-01

A grinding proxy insurgent war in Ukraine between NATO and the full force of the Russian military? Because that's what a lot of people seem to be cheerleading for.

Gunny McRifleson - 2022-03-01

"Don’t do shit that forces a full scale Russian invasion, because now neither side will back down because it doesn’t want to be seen as losing or capitulating."

Please explain. I'm not anti-Russian. I understand the continued existence of NATO post-Cold War was a slap in their face and agree that Crimea should have been returned to Russia being as its historically Russian, majority ethnically Russian, primarily Russian-speaking, and WANTED to rejoin Russia.

Now, with that being said, how was Russia FORCED into a full-scale invasion?

Crackersmack - 2022-03-01

because it has been known for a long time that Russia views Ukraine joining NATO as a red line that they would not allow to be crossed

decoy - 2022-03-01

Totally specious assertion. That detente had be reached. Ukrainian reforms had leagues to go before NATO membership was on the table and the West wasn't eager to encourage it - in fact it was nowhere on the horizon. Just another bullshit excuse from the war criminal Putin.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

Because the negotiations Russia had with NATO about stopping Ukrainian membership were a shitshow.

Just two sides wagging their dicks at each other about how they’re right and won’t compromise.

Maybe NATO could have negotiated a 10 year freeze on new applications and memberships instead of telling Putin to fuck off and NATO will accept any country on the Russian border that asks to join.

Nominal - 2022-03-01

FORCES?

holy fucking shit

SolRo - 2022-03-01

To paraphrase

Putin to nato; ‘I consider Ukraine joining nato an existential crisis for Russia’

NATO to Putin; ‘fuck you pussy, you won’t do shit’

Now if Putin was saying the issue is existential for Russia, maybe it should have been taken more seriously rather than having a dumbass dick waving contest until war broke out and everyone was suddenly so shocked.

Gunny McRifleson - 2022-03-01

"Maybe NATO could have negotiated a 10 year freeze on new applications and memberships instead of telling Putin to fuck off and NATO will accept any country on the Russian border that asks to join."

If Putin has suggested a reasonable moratorium NATO would have jumped at the chance. NATO did NOT want to admit Ukraine. Putin wanted a guarantee that they would never admit Ukraine, which was a non-starter. They stalled the process as long as possible. Shit, if Putin had saved face and sent troops only into Donetsk and Luhansk, NATO and the US would have done the same thing as with the annexation of Crimea: token sanctions (basically nothing)

"I consider Ukraine joining NATO an existential crisis for Russia"

Yeah, that's only part of it. Putin has constantly downplayed and denigrated Ukrainian sovereignty for years. He views Ukraine as Russian property.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

Again, we’re assuming 100% Putin wants to conquer all of Europe.

NATO didn’t have to set an expansionist policy and now we’ll never know if Putin would or would not have attacked after NATO halted expanding.

But do remember historically NATO had already promised to stop expansion decades ago to the USSR but kept on expanding anyhow.

It bad actors and bad faith agreements all the way down.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

My general observation of NATOs stance towards Russia and Putin is one of the American Vietnam/Korea communism domino theory paranoia.

‘If even one concession is made by NATO then surely Putin will conquer the world in short order’

Nominal - 2022-03-01

Maybe the police could have done more to talk the abusive husband out of punching his wife.

Bro, you're sounding like PoorCasualCrastarsmackWill talking about the DNC and Trump. If you pull out the "actually it's about de-Nazification" defense, you'll be sounding like Hazlenut defending the divine right of billionaires.

SolRo - 2022-03-01

You know, fuck you and your imperial cock sucking, defending NATOs divine freedom-o-cratic right to put military and missile bases on the borders of countries you don’t like.

We’d already be radioactive dust of China or Russia had decided to do a military alliance with every socialists state in South America that the USA has tried to overthrow.

Cena_mark - 2022-03-01

His conquests will end at Crimea - People 2014.

glasseye - 2022-03-02

As with like, everything in the news ever, there have been so many terrible takes regarding the war. The potential of nukes popping off makes them all the spicier.

This message from some Russian Anarchists gives me hope: https://crimethinc.com/2022/02/26/russian-anarchists-on-resisting- the-invasion-of-ukraine-updates-and-analysis

Fuck all states, but Russia is the aggressor here. Many will die and suffer for years to come; I feel sorry for both the poor conscripts that will die for Putin's glory, and those in Ukraine who will bleed or find themselves houseless. I stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people (not the state).

I quote, from the above:

"All states are concentration camps.

But what is happening now in Ukraine goes beyond this simple formula, and the principle that every anarchist should fight for the defeat of their country in war.

Because this is not simply a war between two roughly equal powers over the redistribution of capital’s spheres of influence [...]"

It would also be super rad if the the various neo-nazis on both sides of the conflict (Azov battalion, Wagner group, etc) destroyed each other. Fuck them.

Gypsy_Dildo_Factory - 2022-03-02

I see.
Well, none of this shall interrupt my integral listening to the alexandrov red star red army chorus and band/dance ensemble.
