Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2022-02-23
At least in this version they actually show that he finally gets to eat some.
Also this confuses me. Raccoons are know as 'wash-bears' in many languages as they are believed to wash their food. But *apparently* that is merely a common myth, and in reality they just poke around in pools to find food.
Yet here is a raccoon taking food from dry land and dipping it into water. Maybe the zookeepers here expected the raccoon to wash its food so they unintentionally taught it to do that?

SolRo - 2022-02-24 They dip dry foods in water to hydrate it if it’s dry, and maybe clean off dirt? Hence it tried to dip the dry cotton candy

Meerkat - 2022-02-24 And here I stroke my neckbeard and say that many animals wet food to lubricate it so it slides down their throat easier.
Then I leer at the receptionist.

cognitivedissonance - 2022-02-28 It's ok to laugh at a raccoon, dude, they don't experience shame.
