Tripping The Rift was a dumb funny-to-teenagers one line joke by an indie animation studio made for an indie animation competition. Trying to stretch it out to a series was a dumb idea.

As a horny teenager I tried to watch this for the boobs and lewd jokes but it was so bad I couldn't get through an episode. I had a similar experience with Lexx.

Violet Intents - 2020-12-09 I would say worse and I don't even like Draw Together but Tripping the Rift makes that show look genuinely funny. My thing about this show is how one note Rift is. The guy in the video mentions at some point how non stop the sex jokes are and even as a teenager back when this came out I found that unfunny and boring.
I don't mind sex jokes but when your whole show seemingly revolves around that, then yeah it's boring and embarrassing. This is the type of show I would have been embarrassed as to try and watch with anyone not my age, even then I'd still be embarrassed.

It just tried harder to hide hit.
