Dupe, but I'll be damned if I give this less than 5 stars.

Pandatronic - 2007-06-08

hehe, damned.

kingarthur - 2007-06-08

I rented this movie just for this scene. The scene was worth it.

Feyd - 2007-06-11

It's an awesome scene, but the rest of the movie is shit.

EvilHomer - 2007-06-08

Wow. Satan is AWESOME. Anyone know the source of this clip? And was that really meant to be Mark Twain?

Pandatronic - 2007-06-09

"The Adventures of Mark Twain" (or "Comet Quest" for those of you in the UK). This scene is based on Twain's "The Mysterious Stranger".

Adramelech - 2007-06-09

This is seriously one of the best depictions of "Satan" in fiction.

FeeFiFoFoTheFifeFifeBrown - 2007-06-09

Dupe, but the genius of Will Vinton will not be fully-appreciated for many years to come.

Sean Robinson - 2007-06-09

**Fascinating Sean Tidbit #583**

I've regrettably not read much Twain, but "The Mysterious Stranger" is one of my favourites.

plaid_knight - 2007-06-09

Genius!

Camonk - 2007-06-09

Holy crap. This could end up here a thousand times, and I'd watch it and 5-star it every time.

Afgh - 2007-06-10

Sure, let's reward people who can't search for dupes.

Adramelech - 2007-06-10

I don't think I've ever duped before. For some reason I only searched for "satan" here.

Hooper_X - 2007-06-11

Best Doctor Who episode ever.

rastarat - 2007-06-11

More please

ABoyNamedCheese - 2007-06-13

HOLY CRAP

Dib - 2007-06-13

I completely forgot about this, but as a kid I had it on VHS and I used to watch it all the time, probably second only to a few select movies like Labyrinth.

tamago - 2007-06-23

This wins for so many reasons.

Pie Boy - 2007-09-11

Solipsistic nihilism in a kid's claymation movie, featuring Mark Twain and Satan.

Oh my god. This kicks ass.

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2007-09-18

Well fuck it, I don't care if it's a dupe, "I'm an angel, what's your name, Satan" still terrifies my inner child.

Squeamish - 2008-01-04

I wish to God I had seen this as a child.

Gwago - 2008-02-16

Holy shit. I had to watch that twice.

Gwago - 2008-03-01

Wow. Seriously, I wish I could 5 star that again.

VorpalGuy - 2008-05-18

Awesome.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-08

I remember after this was first posted I bought a DVD of it on Amazon (I saw it in the theater and remembered it being awesome).

The rest of it isn't like this at all unfortunately, although the animation is well done.
