Synopsis.. In 1997 Boeing bought out their competitor McDonnell Douglas.
But, Boeing were mostly naive engineering nerds.
McDonnell Douglas was a hive of scum and villainy; sleazy business guys.
They had actually tricked Boeing into buying them out. Their execs quickly rose up the ranks within Boeing and ended up running Boeing.
They focused on sleazy money makin' schemes rather than engineering and ran Boeing into the fucking ground (like their planes)
