Yeah this site needs more of a 10th-rate Jon Stewart wannabe.

Nominal - 2019-09-26 He's more Noah Trevor played by Charlie Day, written by a rejected Last Week Tonight staffer.

Nominal - 2019-09-26 If you're going to make your show 90% reading other people's tweets, at least make them a readable size.

I've always thought we need more Cody. In fact, I've submitted at least a couple of these that have died in the hopper, and a couple more that have spurred a whole lot of complaining.
I think that there's a difference in orientation at work here. Some people, quite understandably in this age of partisan hysteria, want to come here for a relaxing break from the raging madness that surrounds us. I have a different perspective. I like to come here for thoughtful, intelligent discussion of the issues with some of the more thoughtful and intelligent denizens of the web... and also, SolRo.
Let me be clear about something: Cody's not all that funny anymore. Back when Cody was with Cracked, he was hilarious, but not that informative. These days, he's a lot more about facts and ideas, and funny enough that its engaging. It's not just a dry lecture.
Cody is the one person I've seen (I'm sure there are others, but I haven't seen them) who has made a serious, documented youtube essay that attempts to prove that Donald Trump's actions conform to a precise definition of "FASCISM". I think that's important, but not all that funny.
