There is one good joke in this entire sketch, and it's when the woman is afraid of being racist to a zombie. The rest is just awful puns a-go-go.

Man this show sucked

There is only one good Fridays sketch, and that's only because Andy Kaufman refused to do it.

I just found it interesting that this skit was considered "offensive" enough that a number of ABC affiliates ended up pulling the show because of it. Also, zombies.

What is it with the Fridays audience? They reacted to everything like it was naked tits made of chocolate gold.

According to Wikipedia (I know, shut up):

"Because of the sketch's depiction of extreme violence, gore and cannibalism, an apology was made on the following week's show by Melanie Chartoff (who played a zombie waitress in the sketch). The sketch was so offensive that six ABC affiliates stopped airing Fridays. ABC affiliates that didn't pull the show from their schedule (and episodes that aired on the cable channel USA in reruns) merely re-aired the episode with the "Diner of the Living Dead" sketch removed."

It'd be best if Fridays was locked in a vault and never mentioned again.

+1 star for the story behind this. When sketch comedy is bad, it's BAD.

I thought Friday's was great, but between 1980 and 1982, I would have probably been pretty high on any given Friday at 11:30 PM. I still maintain there were some great music performances. I'm thinking Devo, the Stray Cats, and especially the Clash.

Five stars for the fact that it was taken down.
