I've been learning Spanish and this was fun.

Apparently, Italian is almost Spanish?

A man from Central America once told me that Italian is like Spanish, except that you use your hands a lot more.

Anaxagoras - 2019-07-30

That's pretty accurate. And Portuguese is like Spanish except with marbles in your mouth.

A friend of my family who was second generation Sicilian, grew up in an Italian-only household (His mother never learned a word of English, his dad kne a little) and was fully bilingual got a job as a flight attendant for TWA in the 90s.

They listed him as speaking 3 languages because for their purposes, Italian was close enough to Spanish that he could get by in a pinch.

Surprised they didn't throw in Portuguese as a bonus.

The guy doing the German dub is the same guy who did the VO for the TOP SQUAD trailer I cut together for my last MNR promo.

Which leads to my conclusion that there are only two voice actors im Deutschland.

He also voiced Carl on Family Matters , he voiced a lot of my childhood.

"Alle unter einem dach" , google it.

There are indeed very few voice actors here. Germans don't seem to mind, though.

This guy does Arnold Schwarzenegger AND Sylvester Stallone, but you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who knows or notices.

Weird, I just thought of this scene for the first time in I don't know how many years because a kid came in to work today with a Flock Of Seagulls cut.

I saw Pulp Fiction maybe 6 times in the theater, and there were times when I just had to go out in the lobby during this scene. It is SO memorably terrifying, and the way our perception of the Jules character changes, the way every character is so accesible, and so twisted at the same time. Did God really "show up" to save Jules after he sadistically murdered Brad, whoafter all, was the one who said he read the Bible.

Tarentino could have done nothing but foot porn for the last 25 years, and we should still kiss his ass for making Pulp Fiction. Or, I suppose, his foot.
