I'm currently driving a car with a rusted subframe getting ready to fracture. I cannot afford a new vehicle at this time. It's kind of fucked up but I am more terrified about the prospect of the air bags if there is a crash.

I always used to hear that in the US airbags use a lot more force cus US drivers tend not to wear their seat belts (this is back in the 90's)
