I wonder how he feels about those New York style pizzas topped with tiny little Chicago-style pizzas?

il fiore bel - 2018-09-02

I liked his appearance on 2 Dope Queens where he would just throw offending pizza aside. Wish I could find a full clip of it.

After growing up eating my Nona's cooking I can't eat any shit from restaurants. That New York pizza looks like cardboard and the deep dish is just gross. I also fucking cringe when I hear anyone say "gabbagool" instead of capicola.

Old_Zircon - 2018-09-02

I grew up in a town that was about 30% Sicilian immigrants and their kids, s I've had some good restaurant pizzas, but yeah. Learn to make dough (pretty easy) and get a pizza stone and you can make a better pizza than any restaurant I've been to.

I recommend putting just a little bit of rye flour in the dough (if you're using a 1000 gram recipe like I do, use rye for maybe 50 or 60 grams of that).

I've been adapting my pizza dough from the recipes in here for a few years, they're really easy and better than any restaurant pizza or premade dough I've encountered yet:

Everybody knows Detroit style is better.

Xenocide - 2018-09-02

Square pizza? Are we in Bizzaro World?

blue vein steel - 2018-09-02

i stopped eating "detroit" style pizza when i graduated from elementary school

Chicken the Did - 2018-09-26

Hey, those school pizzas were fucking great!

Old_Zircon - 2018-09-02

I don't even have to watch this to know I agree.

Connecticut style pizza is one of my favorites but unfortunately you have to go to Connecticut to get it, and the arguments against going to Connecticut outweigh the quality of the pizza.

Old_Zircon - 2018-09-02

It's like they took only the best aspects of New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island styles and combined them like Voltron.

I miss chourice on pizza. a lot.

cognitivedissonance - 2018-09-02

As a West Coaster, all pizza is as dust in my mouth, ash on my head, for mourning and weeping is nigh.

Xenocide - 2018-09-02

The ninja turtles live in New York yet they have the nerve to only eat Pizza Hut's garbage. I hope Shredder kills them.

infinite zest - 2018-09-02

I'm pretty sure it was Dominos in the first TMNT film, but GMO Tomato/Tomahtos I guess. To add to Cog's Left Coast Pizza Woes above, the best deep dish pizza I've had since I moved back from the Midwest is, in fact, Dominos.

cognitivedissonance - 2018-09-02

Have you ever seen the inside of a turtle's mouth? It's terrifying. I'm not even sure they have taste buds, it's all backwards pointing teeth.

Xenocide - 2018-09-03

The only Ninja Turtle canon I know is the one from the old Konami games, and TMNT 2 for the NES was chock full of Pizza Hut logos and product placement. Every pizza box in the game had the hut logo on it, so eating it should realistically cut your life bar in half, not restore it. That's poor game design. I give this game an IGN score of 73 out of 10: Average.
