He doesn't become a "supposed" journalist just because you don't like what he wrote lady. At worst, he becomes a "shitty" journalist.
Jesus Christ. I'd like to say that the right being so stupid guarantees that they won't actually come to power, but when you read about the Nazis before they came to power, you realize that serendipity can make up for a lot of stupidity.
Stupidity is a force unto itself. The most dangerous group of people in the universe are the stupid people because you cannot predict what they will do; and what they do usually involves harming themselves and others.
Successful societies manage to restrict the power granted to the stupid people; when a society fails this task it will crumble under the weight of its own idiocy.
That’s why the Night of Long Knives was necessary. Before Rohm was purged, the most common complaint about Nazis was their Philistinism and lack of organization. Afterwards, they all emulated Von Ribbentrop, who was just as much a Philistine but he was able to dress appropriately to the occasion, refrain from being seen in the beer halls, and kept his worst opinions behind closed doors.
