A gay abortion doctor moonlighting as a prostitute is raped by a racist who turns out to be an aide to the mayor and a member of a wealthy, powerful family and who claims he was molested as a child while serving in Iraq.

Mariska Hargitay becomes emotionally attached to the victim and ends up adopting three babies. Another detective becomes enraged and throat-punches an innocent bystander but escapes punishment because Hargitay says "he's a good cop who made a bad mistake." The 19-year-old fashion model/Assistant District Attorney of Manhattan says her hands are tied. Richard Belzer makes some sarcastic quips, while Ice-T talks about how 'messed up' a sexual practice discussed during the episode is. Credits.

You forgot the bit where Ice Tea needs the fetish explained to him like he's a child. We'll keep your application on file.

It's either he's never heard of the fetish or he's the only person in the entire fucking precinct who can explain the fetish to everybody else. My girlfriend still watches it since NBC's the only network channel we get and informed me that Belzer hasn't even been on for a while, and that'd be like watching Surviving The Game without Rutger Hauer or Gary Busey, just Ice T running around acting rather confused. I do like that Raul Esparza's a lead character, I guess replacing Meloni, but apparently not even the show's writers remember that he's already been on L&O Proper and CI, as two different people, still looking more-or-less exactly the same as his new attorney persona as a show regular. That simply cannot exist with Hargitay continuing to be Olivia Benson in the other shows, which she already has, not to mention the expanded Dick Wolfverse of Chicago

Hard Target vs. Surviving The Game?

I think it's a total toss-up for me.

The episode that aired last night had a long hostage-taking sequence filmed about 100 feet from my apartment, and part of me wanted to go to filming to get Ice-T to sign my copy of OG ORIGINAL GANGSTA, but I was afraid that I'd try to talk to him about how lame it is that he's now known for playing cops onscreen.

I've got an old Dolphin beanie baby sitting around somewhere, I'd love to ask him to sign it as J-Bone

I have a relatively rare promo copy of OG that I received as a gift, so I would also like Ice's signature. Body Count was a huge influence on a young TUDF.

I always figured it was basically Ice making a joke by playing a cop after writing "Cop Killer"

Most acting doesn't seem to require knowing the material intimately. It's reading lines and being directed to express certain emotions while doing so.

Playing a biographical role well may require actually learning about the person and subject, but acting for a fictional character seems like it would be quite simple in terms of knowledge
