Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2017-03-05
One punch man: I thought the 1st few episodes were really strong, but then it turned into a sincere example of the very thing it started out parodying. It was still enjoyable tho. I did end up watching it all.

Quad9Damage - 2017-03-06 It starts off as one joke where an unstoppable hero stumbles in the way of cliched supervillians. After that joke wears thin it becomes a morality play about pride. Everyone in the Hero's Guild gets bogged down with matching up classes, rankings and raw numbers, save for this one guy who became the best simply for the hell of it. The other heroes lose because they are up their asses with their own sense of self importance as defined by their power levels. Saitama, untainted by pride, always wins.

Caminante Nocturno - 2017-03-06 The exception being Mumen Rider, who's just a normal man with a bike, and everyone loves him.

Nominal - 2017-03-06 So it's Lord of the Rings and Frodo has a super punch.

Binro the Heretic - 2017-03-05
I was wondering how they could handle Saitama. In fact, I didn't actually think they could manage it.
This works perfectly.
