"what in the what how did this restaurant exist"

There's a Burger King. Why not a Burger QUEEN?

Surprised there wasn't a Burger Prince.

I always thought a drag-themed Red Robin style burger chain called Burger Queen would be rad.

"Come on into Burger Queen" just doesn't sound right

chumbucket - 2017-02-03

Burger Queen chicken, huh?

Meerkat - 2017-02-03

We had a Dairy King here, they made these ridiculously huge burgers. Then they went out of business but the cooks got together and bought the place and they still make those ridiculously huge burgers.

This jingle sounds like Top of the World by the Carpenters.

I can't stop watching that blonde lady on the left about five seconds in--she kind of nibbles on her chicken drumstick, swishes her hair around Marcia Brady-style, nibbles on it again, then offers YOU her chewed-on drumstick.

love that half the vids on the front page are about fried chicken right now

This is from that alternate universe where the Travelling Wilburries continued on with Neil Young and Ray Davies after Roy Orbison and Gearge Harrison died.

You're weird.

They were Burger Queen from 1963 to 1981, at which point they changed their name to "Druther's." According to Wikipedia:

"The last operating Druther's (as of September 2016) is in Campbellsville, Kentucky."
