Were these specific PSAs the inspiration for "No Adults Allowed" or is it just that all early 90s PSAs looked like this?

I'd tell you, but the origin of that marketing trope is a secret that's JUST FOR KIDS!

I remember I wanted to buy go-gurt as a kid, but my dad stopped me in the grocery store and gave me a lecture about how stupid it is and that it is less yogurt for more money.

Parents just don't understand.

A friend of mine's older brother had the "Totally For Kids" DJ (VJ?) job at my local Fox affiliate. Yeah, it was pretty much like this, but since we're Portland Oregon we got the Jammin Salmon instead of John Walsh. But the Salmon was about educating teens about the dangers Salmon face, and not whatever Mr. Walsh is talking about. Now get off my lawn.

I used to drink Orbitz for a while. Not because I was particularly excited about it but because I really didn't have any strong feelings one way or the other about it but most of my friends had tried it and thought it was absolutely vile, so drinking it was a really easy way to gross them out.

If you never tried it, it kind of tasted like Gatorade except it was clear and a bit thicker, and the gimmick was that there were pea size tapioca balls floating in it. This was years before boba tea was widely known in the US so it seemed very futuristic.

OH GOD I totally flashedback to sugar purgatory. 5 stars.
