It all depends on the host, i think 90% of participants are on the east coast so it kinda settled at around 7 EST.

You can still drop by and catch Amerigeddon at about 9 EST. And stay on for the after features like and episode of Baywatch Nights or Earth: Final Conflict.

We are also really easy to guilt into staying up way too late. Just say "assholes, I live in a nice place, stop punishing me for it" and we will say "okay, our bad" and then put on more movies.

If these started at 9pm EST most of us would be up until around 6 am (instead of just RSR, who goes above and beyond all rational human behavior and stays up until like 9 in the morning)

I think we've found it to be a decent compromise time, at least in the states, at around 7pm EST.

People on the west coast really only get fucked out of one feature at the start, and people on the east coast only get fucked out of one at the end.

Usually, it's 4 features and a episode of something. If you figure minimum, 90 minute features, people on the east coast have to stay up until at least 1am to catch em all.

We've been doing this awhile now, and people even have got the jist down of putting your two best features in the middle for the benefit of stragglers and the easily bored.
