I really didn't expect this to make it through the hopper. The clip is kind of boring to me. But hey, maybe we can find some of the musical numbers? (It's Bollywood, there has to be a musical number).

Pretty sure this is from a TV serial. Something about the lighting, effects and bg music...won't find much in the way of dance there. If KA wants some outrageous bollywood, I think I can find it.

Ah it's the slowmo shots, dead TV giveaway.

Nollywood has not been sleeping lately, just saying...

True to the source material.

OH, it's OK. He left some balloons as compensation.

Totally inaccurate representation of 1950s America. That kid wouldn't have been let anywhere near that pool.

I actually prefer this version of the clown makeup. I loved Tim Curry's performance, but thought the makeup was too over-the-top.

Most kids are afraid of clowns anyway. I could never imagine a child seeing the American version of Pennywise and not fleeing in terror. I'd believe this clown could lure a kid in closer.

I liked the Tim Curry Pennywise a lot because he was truly terrifying. When I saw It on tv as a kid, Curry had me not sleeping for a few days.

It's true that the Tim Curry Pennywise would never be able to seduce a kid into getting near him though. He's far too malevolent and visually bizarre. But, for me, that Pennywise is still a classic of American horror.

This one is probably more what King intended, with a certain banality to it so you'd never expect it would murder a shit ton of kids.

That Pennywise design for the new movie though? Total Hot Topic bullshit. In the extreme.

Every Indian movie I've seen over the past few years has a swimming pool scene of some kind. They have some kind of obsession with swimming pools right now, maybe because of the association with the rich lifestyle, or possibly because monsters are just a common everyday thing over there. Either way, five stars and all of them float.

I kept expecting it to cut to Sylvester McCoy with that music.

First, Small Wonder and now this! I wonder what other beloved American classics were remade in India!
