Even though Kim's voice was mixed annoyingly louder than all the other parts, I watched all of it. I poked around in Populous when I was young, I was fascinated by Theme Park when it came out and I actually completed Black & White, so I guess I was a kind of a fan.
I find this old video games stuff always interesting.

Cube - 2016-06-08 The key is to read all the tips, tricks and cheats on the net.
Actually I was a little disappointed there weren't anywhere near as much easter eggs and little details to explore on later levels as on the first island.
But still. It's a captivating game.

"As one of the most important people in video game development, Peter Molyneux deserves that [a very long video exploring his motivations]"
Is that introduction accurate, or does it just reflect the video presenter's preferences in games? I always got the impression that Molyneux was only a moderately significant figure: yes, many people knew of him, but he was more known for wildly over-promising & under-delivering, rather than for any skill or influence.
Contrast that with, say, Sid Meier, who seems to have influenced a wide swathe of strategy games. (As well as helming a very successful franchise in its own right.)

Anaxagoras - 2016-06-07 ... nevermind. I wrote the above post after watching the first 5 or 10 minutes of the video. But later in the video, this guy does a great job of providing context & accurately describing the state of affairs during Molyneux's heyday. (I had no idea that Molyneux was involved with Syndicate Wars. That game was awesome!)
Anyways, this guy's channel is a real gem. Thanks for posting it, Born in the RSR.
