After spending decades as a crook, a pirate, a mean cowboy, and a general-purpose brigand, Pete settled down, started a family, and got a new leg attached thanks to the health insurance provided by his steady job.

But then his wife ran off with one of the handsome anime men from Kingdom Hearts, and a despondent Pete returned to a life of crime. As part of the divorce settlement, Pete's ex retains full custody of his leg.
