Get the SWV dvd release of this, it has a commentary track that is very interesting. If I remember correctly, Steve Hawkes (the big eastern Eurpean guy) was laid up after getting horribly burned while making a shitty Tarzan movie. He was basically stranded in Florida, and agreed to make this movie in order to get some money together to get back home. So of course the movie falls apart during production, and is basically abandoned, so Steve somehow takes it upon him self to finish the damn thing, which he did!

Wondering if I should set aside an evening for this.
