Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-01-18
Somehow I don't think this will be in the sequel. Unless they really jump the shark during an Olaf dream sequence.

infinite zest - 2016-01-18 Aw shit.. that wasn't a joke was it? Why a Frozen 2?!?!?
|
infinite zest - 2016-01-18 $$ I know but it was a good stand-alone movie, based off a very short Andersen novel. Disney's tried this again and again, Little Mermaid, Lion King, Aladdin, and it never works because kids are probably onto something else. I had to do a lot of trick or treating this year and I saw exactly ONE Elsa out of hundreds of kids. Original Frozen was really good, but it'd be like an Up! 2. Oh well..

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2016-01-18 I can't really give you guys enough stars or love for that. That was...amazing.
Disney sequels suck because they go direct to video almost every time, which means cheaper production value, but they are emulating the Pixar model now, which means spending a lot of money, which could work if they bring in new myths/legends so it doesn't feel stretched out.
Personally I'd like to see a sequel to Wall-E where a few generations after humans land, EVA has convinced the grandchildren of the first fat colonists that she is God and has completely taken over. Wall-E tries to stop her and so she takes him apart and nails him to a magnet cross and has him hauled out to a junkyard, but a few humans manage to find him and resurrect him with parts they make themselves. Wall-E takes the last working spaceship and goes back to outer space to live out the rest of his eternity but he is soon worshiped as the savior of Earth and EVA is eventually killed by sentient Cars from Cars, after she fiddles around with a portal between worlds, and the Cars are from another dimension. It ends with Cars discovering humans are their own destined gods but they soon take up the worship of Walleism. EVA is melted into scrap with the same furnace used in Toys 3. Humans make a new rule that robots must always serve mankind, and so all the robots they make are usually human in appearance, or harmless in general. They send these robots through many dimensions as "toys" that are actually ways to spy on other dimensions for potential signs of AI that are not Wall-E and therefore must be destroyed.

Crunchy Frog - 2016-01-18
I was waiting to see which one would get the upper hand in their awkward grappling, and judo throw the other into the pool.
