I'm with the soccer mom on this one.. this should happen to most motorcyclists.

SolRo - 2015-06-10

And gay people too, am I right? lolz!

Old_Zircon - 2015-06-10

Maybe IZ just hates dentists.

kingarthur - 2015-06-10

A friend of mine got hit by a soccer mom while on his motor cycle and ended up in a wheel chair.

He was hit again several months later and killed while driving to physical therapy in a minivan. The culprit this time was a logging truck and a city bus.

MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2015-06-11

IZ vs. kingarthur in the ultimate "worst fucking anecdote ever" competition!

Come see the titans of banal banter battle it out this Sunday, Sunday, Sunday Night!

Jet Bin Fever - 2015-06-11

Well that's depressing.

The Mothership - 2015-06-10

I love how the driver has clearly backed over something big (like another person), and then keeps going.

ashtar. - 2015-06-10

If you encounter resistance when backing up, you should really crank down on the gas pedal so you can get whatever it is you hit fully under your vehicle.

Oscar Wildcat - 2015-06-10

Also: heavily tint your tiny windows such that it's impossible to see into or out of them.

Adham Nu'man - 2015-06-10

Well you don't want the victim to suffer. Just crush their skull and get it over with.

Binro the Heretic - 2015-06-10

I'm thinking this is a typical "pedal misapplication" where the driver, startled by the initial impact, slammed their foot down hard on the brake...but forgot to take it off the gas pedal first.

Gmork - 2015-06-10

IE a fucking moron.

Old_Zircon - 2015-06-10

I did that once but to be fair In was trying to drive a car that had been retrofitted for a wheelchair-bound friend so I was operating the pedals with my hands while simultaneously steering, in reverse, in the dark, in a state of profound non-sobriety, and without having been told that releasing a pedal wouldn't do anything, I had to actually pull it back up with my hand. Fortunately the only injuries were to his bumper and the wall of our practice space, and both of them were already pretty fucked up to begin with.

I have trouble imagining how you'd do it under more favorable conditions, at least in an automatic.

gravelstudios - 2015-06-10

That's like how my grandma used to drive. Right foot on the gas, left foot on the brake, purse on the gear shift.

That guy - 2015-06-10

...clear eyes, full heart, can't lose.

bopeton - 2015-06-10

I used to have an irrational fear of this exact thing happening to me except I wouldn't be able to jump clear in time. Guess it wasn't so irrational...

gravelstudios - 2015-06-10

I just noticed the Red Bull truck in the background. I could be wrong, but I think I smell viral marketing.

Sanest Man Alive - 2015-06-10

Red Bull Gives You Insurance Claaaaaims!

yogarfield - 2015-06-10

"why i don't trust any other car ever"

because it takes more than a car to really get the job done!

misterbuns - 2015-06-11

"I just assume everyone is going to do the dumbest thing possible."

Like drive an invisible suicide machine.

Buy the ticket take the fucking ride, dude.

Crackersmack - 2015-06-11

I actually made eye contact once with a woman that was attempting to run me over by changing into the lane I was riding in.

She heard my horn, she saw me, and we locked eyes for 5+ seconds and that still didn't make her think "oh maybe I should stay in my own lane for a second".
