It really made me think.

So candian parents just let their kids hang around with some creepy dude in a basement with some kind of chroma key colored suit with only his eyes and lips cut out.

These kids will need booze or harsher drugs to cope with this trauma.

Something about that inter-dimensional space demon's movements remind me of Tonetta.

There are legitimate reasons not to drink or do drugs as an adolescent. Being cool has never been one of the reasons.

this is like the Canadian version of Fire by Nite, but somewhat weirder. Which is...hard to accomplish.

Did anybody actually expect this to prevent teen drinking? Like, some 16 year old is going to watch this and say "gee, I was going to drink at the party, but this video totally changed my mind".

It was always this way for me when I was a kid.. they never really mentioned WHAT drug, just "drugs" that are all ovular capsules so it's like, pot, heroin, alcohol, it's all the same. Because Drugs. I was at a party when I was 16 though and decided not to drink and left and took the bus home, and I was kind of glad I did because my ride did get drunk and crashed their parents' car because they'd just learned to drive. No big injuries but still..

Thing is, if anything, high school students have more of a resposible gauge than people over 21, because you're in high school and still have a very structured day. By 22 or so you're probably out of college and working some job, and if you drink that's just what you do but you don't need to make that conscious decision about fucking up on a Chemistry test that will totally lower your GPA like I did. And assuming you're better at driving after 6 years of experience, it's not really a big deal to have a few and drive home (still shouldn't do it) but when you're 16, every drop counts and who knows when you'll be able to get drunk again so get as drunk as possible. And some US states totally allow parents to order alcohol for their kids at bars and restaurants anyway, and I think all of Canada does.. I'd have loved to learn moderation when I was younger, instead of spending my time in Australia at 18 with a massive hangover that lasted like a week..
