This is so bad, it's... Bad. Wooo-ooo!

dairyqueenlatifah - 2015-04-26

This came out in 1984, aha, aha.

Oh, to be that poor group of new hires in that back room awkwardly watching this.

EvilHomer - 2015-04-26

Hey, you guys remember when McDonald's corporate offices got all mad at Merriam-Webster for defining a "McJob" as low-paying, dehumanizing shit work?

infinite zest - 2015-04-26

I do, but at least they stopped calling it "Joe Job" because that's my name. Then again, I've had some shit jobs. Did you know that a lot of people take poops in their empty popcorn buckets at movies so they don't have to leave the auditorium for a minute or two?

Cena_mark - 2015-04-26

I had no idea. That's terrible. I assume you also found urine filed beverage cups.

fedex - 2015-04-26

so that wasn't Mountain Dew?

EvilHomer - 2015-04-26

Was this the hentai theatre you worked at?

infinite zest - 2015-04-26

Nope, just a normal movie theatre, more on the "indie"/"art house" side of things I guess. The hentai crowd was very congenial and threw away their mess. My theory is, in big blockbuster movies, you can sort of tell when all the action's going to happen, so you plan accordingly. In a porno, you're doing other things with your hands and not eating. But in a film that's primarily dialogue-driven, you really don't want to miss a thing.

Peeing wasn't a big problem though. There were 6 urinals I believe, and only one stall. We did have a pisser, this old guy who would see the same movie 3 or 4 times every day, and mostly just slept there. No idea where he always got his big wad of cash from.. peeing makes more of a sound too.

Looks like they stole some Bob Fosse at 1:18.

urbanelf - 2015-04-26

They didn't have any technical advisers in the production.

baleen - 2015-04-26

It's actually amazing the choreography was that good for a training video.

fluffy - 2015-04-26

I think the health department would have something to say about 1:35.

gravelstudios - 2015-04-26

I love how videos that are mentioned in Cracked articles end up here the next day.

infinite zest - 2015-04-26

meh.. it's about the same as seeing a video posted on reddit showing up here.. at least Cracked got funny and interesting at some point.. what I don't understand is why they kept the name, when it's no longer the Mad Magazine alternative. It was never a household name the way Creem Magazine was, which kept its name and attempted to get in with the pitchfork kids and as far as I know alienated every music fan who still gave a shit about the name.

baleen - 2015-04-26

Cracked is owned by Saudi trust fund babies now. It's a travesty.

infinite zest - 2015-04-26

The only videos worse than these are the Red Cross training videos that I have to show staff every now and then, which are inexplicably updated constantly with new actors and filming locations. The only thing that's really changed and is still in flux is the ratio of breaths to compressions, but they make a whole new film every time.

BHWW - 2015-04-26

This video replaced what was previously used to motivate McDonalds employees, specifically cat-o-nine tails and thumbscrews.

Prickly Pete - 2015-04-26

I've lost all ability to discern between what I think is genuinely amazing and what I think is ironically amazing.

The Mothership - 2015-04-26

Where's the Weird Al tag?

Also those are some good dancers, McDonalds must pay well.
