Any of you in NYC who haven't checked out the Maysles Center in Harlem should do it - it's an awesome place. He was always around there and was incredible sweet, and full of stories. RIP

baleen - 2015-03-09 I interviewed for an internship at his production house, which is located in what was once the Studio 54 building.
I got the internship, then came home for Christmas, only to find that they had dissolved the position. I was pretty bummed.
Most of his bread and butter money came from making Sports Illustrated swimsuit videos, as well as the docs about the Christos. Kind of a lukewarm end to a legendary career.
