cool stuff, but the title made me think the pilot died after the passenger landed the plane

It's completely understandable to be a bit upset when the pilot leaves a passenger to land a plane.

I like how cool and rational the guy left flying the plane remains given the situation.

This was some years ago, but my mom and I used to charter a ski bus up to Timberline on Mt. Hood, and on the way home they were stuck in traffic and the driver made a snoring noise. And everyone thought it was a joke. Turns out he just had a massive heart attack and was dead instantly, as the bus slowly edged closer to the cliff right off the mountain. Luckily someone noticed before it was too late and stopped the bus, otherwise I wouldn't have a mom anymore (I was in college by this point so I wasn't on the bus, but I and everyone else would've been toast too.)

Stopping (or starting) a bus is nothing like doing the same with a car, and the story I read (I was just trying to figure out what the co-pilot was doing, but it could be that the plane was small enough to not need a co-pilot (!?!)) said that the passenger had never flown a plane, and probably has as much experience as I do with games like Flight Simulator. I think a few of you said you're pilots.. if the instructions are given to you step by step, and assuming the skies were relatively calm, which do you think would be more difficult? Anyway I'm glad everyone's safe.
