One whole plain cheese pizza, just for him.

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-12-13

I have no idea what he does these days. Does he work somewhere normal? Does he just collect royalty checks? What? Glad he's still alive though.

fluffy - 2014-12-14

he's in a shitty band, and the only reason people listen to the band is because they just found out he's in it

apparently this video was done as a very inside joke to promote the band, which is called The Pizza Underground.

http://thepizzaunderground.bandcamp.com

his main role in the band is playing the kazoo and pretending to have hissyfits on stage

sasazuka - 2014-12-14

I know he was acting in stage plays in Britain for a while. My brother saw one in London while he was at university over there and thought Culkin was pretty good in it. Whatever it was.

sasazuka - 2014-12-14

This is the show, MADAME MELVILLE, when Maculay Culkin was 20: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/979421.stm

Already 14 years ago, though.

SolRo - 2014-12-14

I'm seeing a trend...I don't think it's going to end well.

EvilHomer - 2014-12-14

He was really good in Party Monster.

badideasinaction - 2014-12-14

I'm somewhat proud/ashamed to say I say The Pizza Underground live in concert, with the defense that I didn't have to pay to see it (it was at an event I was already at) and there was free pizza. I'm pretty sure the band was surprised that they had to play the entire set, because up to that point they'd been booed off the stage in most places.

There are worse ways to travel around with your drinking/smoking buddies, I guess.

Spit Spingola - 2014-12-14

I also saw them for free and they gave away free pizza. Can't complain about that! The girl they have doing a Nico impression in the recordings is pretty good, but she failed to make it to the show I went to. Also they can't really sing or play instruments very well. Still, a unique experience, and I'd go again.

infinite zest - 2014-12-14

I was playing a show down the street from where Pizza Underground were playing theirs' and I turned out running into Culkin at a bar, just sitting by himself and I turned out sitting next to him. We talked about music and stuff and at no point did he mention who he was. He even told me his first name and I didn't make a connection. We just played pinball and hung out for a bit, and then I had to go. I was halfway home where I sort of made the connection. It was weird because I also ran into Dustin Diamond when I was living back in Wisconsin, and in that case everybody in the place knew, asking him to do his "Screech." At no point did anyone come up to Culkin and be all like "do that thing you did from Home Alone."

FABIO - 2014-12-14

Didn't his parents embezzle all his money?

infinite zest - 2014-12-14

I think I heard about that, but I think it was more of a divorce thing with his parents since he wasn't 18 over which parent would handle the money, vs. the famous Gary Coleman story. I could be wrong though. The rest of the Culkins seem cool too. Mean Creek and Igby Goes Down are fantastic movies. Mac's not been up to too much it seems.. the Pizza thing was pretty dumb but it didn't hurt anyone the way some celebrities do.

That black t-shirt could use some accessories.

Crab Mentality - 2014-12-14

Am I the only one to notice that this is a remake of Andy Warhol eating a hamburger, or does everyone notice, but not mention it?

Hailey2006 - 2014-12-14

If so, somebody should make a surreal comedy show where Culkin (played by another actor) is the maid and/or a robot!
(Guess what THAT'S a reference to!)

fluffy - 2014-12-14

It's in the tags, sort of.

infinite zest - 2014-12-14

heh.. I didn't notice it. I always liked the Velvet Underground and appreciated Warhol but never really paid attention to his work outside of the posthumous biopics and such.

EvilHomer - 2014-12-15

Andy Warhol was the worst. I guess it would be appropriate for a guy with the life experiences of Mr Culkin to do a homage to that vapid old hipster, but still. The worst.

Lef - 2014-12-14

I prefer his crazy ocver Shia's crazy.

Hope he stays away from the smack.

chumbucket - 2014-12-15

Career in a slump? Go crazy!

We have Charlie Sheen to thank for this trend.
