Ya besides a pretty cool cover of Perfect Day, the album's total shit. But it was the first and only Duran Duran album I bought. Years later I'd listen to Rio. Same thing happened with Bowie and I. Outside was the first Bowie album I got, and didn't even know Ziggy Stardust until I was in college. But at least that album wasn't THAT bad..

When I was a kid I had a c64 disk that had a version of 'The Reflex' with a fractal pattern screen saver. It blew my mind when I heard that song on the radio a week later. I've had a soft spot for Duran Duran since then.

heh. I equally loved and hated those things. I had a whole bunch of .xm files on a disk and you could basically make your own visualizer. The tunes were great but they all had horrible file names so I got really into Europe's 'The Final Countdown' without even knowing it. So much in fact that I'd go to record stores and sing the song and nobody knew what it was. Around this same time I was also introduced to Iron Maiden via Anton Maiden may he rock in peace
