I've laughed at him for a long time with you guys, but we aren't observers anymore, we are his audience and that changes everything.

He craves an audience more than anything else in life. It is his sole reason for being, a goal that colors all of his seemingly irrational behavior, from buying that car when he was broke and homeless to posting hours of embarassing videos that could not possibly go over well. We provide him that audience, and we are his *good* audience - by which I mean, *we* don't fuck with him. We watch and we laugh, but we mostly leave him alone, unlike the rest of his fanbase, who participate in flame wars and Google Hangouts and stalkings both online and IRL. Hell, even his so-called friends are assholes, manipulating him and getting him into trouble with the cops. With friends like that, are we really his enemies?
