You're not good! You're just a chicken, cheep cheep cheep cheep cheep!

Okay so this is going to be Mod Priority #1 once this is available. It'll be an easy one, too.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-10-20

Along with the usual Macho Man Randy Savage mod.

Pope Caius - 2014-10-20

I'd like a mod where you just aggressively play harmless jokes on everyone. SILLY STRING! JOY BUZZER! BUBBLES EVERYWHERE! And maybe kicking over lawn decorations

fluffy - 2014-10-20

I hadn't heard of this game before. Apparently it's so horrible that Epic Games asked for the Unreal Engine logo to NOT be anywhere on the marketing or splash screen, which is probably a first for licensed engines.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2014-10-20

That, and the developers are a bunch of far-right Polish nationalists.

Gmork - 2014-10-20

It's alright to kill hundreds of thousands of things, as long as their death animations are all "warriors deaths" with manly grunts and yells, not cowering and shrieking for mercy.

Vidya Game Logic.

baleen - 2014-10-20

I know man, what's the difference between orcs and elves getting murdered and first person games where people can recreate real life massacres? Lord of the Rings, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sim Concentration Camp, Rape the Nigger, it's all part of the same, like, thing or whatever.

CornOnTheCabre - 2014-10-20

well that is quite obviously not at all what he was arguing, but as long as Baleen can feel smug and can parse your opinion on his terms, nothing said here really matters anyways

BorrowedSolution - 2014-10-20

Cowering and shrieking for mercy is exactly how my childhood died. And if it was good enough for my childhood, it's good enough for an NPC.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-10-20

I saw at least one woman getting shot in this trailer, and it made me run out of my house, call the police, and demand free money.

You should know by now that saying anything even mildly negative about the content of a video game is literally a hate crime against the world's most oppressed people of all time. For the sake of freedom of speech, all dissent against video games must be silenced forever.

I had to stop playing the "Grand Theft Auto" series with "GTA IV" specifically because the murder and mayhem became a lot less fun with the realistic NPC AI.

In "Vice City" or "San Andreas" it was fun to run around randomly killing everyone on the street because they behaved so mechanically. They either ran away at top speed or charged at you, ready to kick your ass. If they were knocked down by an explosion, they either got up and ran away or charged you, or lay in a pool of strawberry jam until paramedics showed up or they turned into a stack of money.

When I tried to play "GTA IV", I fired a rocket launcher at random into a crowd. People screamed and writhed in agony. There had been a happy couple strolling along holding hands. The man was now a crumpled heap and the woman was trying to flee, dragging a useless leg and clutching her side screaming "PLEASE GOD SOMEONE HELP ME!" I couldn't take it. I tried focusing on the main story and side missions, but there was always collateral damage.

I'm not saying you're a bad or horrible person if you don't get empathetic reactions from synthetic suffering. I'm just saying I can't shut mine off and it greatly affects my enjoyment of a game.

Pope Caius - 2014-10-20

^ Similar thing happened to me with Sims 3. I had downloaded a sniper rifle item that would let my Sim murder other Sims. It was hilarious, until I had to see the friends and family of the murdered Sims walking around crying and mourning every time I visited a public lot.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2014-10-20

GTA IV was my first game in the franchise, and I have to say a few things made me quit playing:

1. The violence you had to perpetrate to just move the story along was kind of at odds with someone who was trying to put his violent past behind him, but that was nothing compared to...
2. ...fucking Cousin Roman.
3. The dissonance between the mission instance and the world outside. I did my first indoor mish, which was to kill a rival drug dealer or something. You had to shoot out the door lock, bust in, and murder everyone. When it was over, I was walking out of the apartment, and I saw all these other locked doors. "I wonder if I can shoot those open, too?" Apparently a symphony of murder and gunfire was A-OK with the po-po, but a single shot to try and open a door (that was unopenable) = 3 stars and cops surrounding the building.

Pope Caius can you link me to said mod, i finally have a reason to install the free sims 3 someone traded me on steam!

I bet you'll have to pay extra for the tuxedo football mini-game.

Caminante Nocturno - 2014-10-20

This game makes me feel like I'm sitting on an atomic bomb waiting for it to go off.

Another take on the trailer that's what this edgy piece of garbage deserves:
