I don't really have strong feelings one way or the other about Dr. Who as such, but I'm all for anything with Tom Baker in it.

Like most people I liked the Tom Baker ones, and Torchwood was pretty cool.. we had a promo running before our films and after the two-hundrend millionth time I was like "OH! Anagram for Doctor Who!" I also had a Dr. Who pinball machine. But yeah, the new ones, from what little I've seen, are.. I'm not sure what they are. They just really really suck.

I was at Dragoncon and I got sick of seeing all the people dressed as Doctors and Tards. They are worse than the Steampunks.

Old Who was pretty awful, but New Who is brilliant.

And Cena, I thought you liked Dr Whooves?

Who gives a fuck, Cena, what do you think of autonomous omni-surveillance robots roaming your streets, reading every license plate, looking for something to accuse someone of?

I actually think these are a great idea and will do more good than harm in the long run.

I'm also glad to be done with Matt Smith and find Peter Capaldi's mixture of Tom Baker and David Tennant to be what the reboot should have been from the beginning.

I'll be honest, I've only seen one episode of the new Who. But I didn't like Dr. Sexy Who. He's cute and all but has no charisma. Kind of like a British Michael Cera with a TARDIS. I dunno, maybe I'll give it a second chance. But I looked it up and there's a new Doctor now anyway.

(what memedumpster said.) I'll watch the new one. It's pretty JJ Abrahamsey, if that's an adverb -which it is not- but this Peter Capaldi guy reminds me of the doctor I loved. But I have the same problem with Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbun or whatever. Not bad, just not what I imagined the archetype as.

I went to a "Whovian" wedding last year. Their vows went something like "I promise to love you throughout all space-time." I felt kind of bad for the methodist minister who was officiating. "Before I met these two I had never heard of Doctor Who." Makes you wonder how many people they asked before they found him.

It's worth noting that the minster looked like a cross of Sammy Davis Jr and Billy Dee Williams.
