Bingo.

CGI can do amazing stuff, but it's all in who's in charge of the designs. CGI cartoon characters with realistic skin textures are bad enough, but when they have human-looking eyes, you think they just arrived from another dimension and scooped a handy pair of peepers out of a random victim to put into their abyss-like eye sockets before showing up on camera.

Either way, the last film i did postvis on, the VFX supervisor had been to Bay's house many times.

Yeah this obviously isn't real. Also, Michael Bay is NOT directing this. It's directed by the guy who did Battle Los Angeles, which I didn't think was too bad. I don't have any high hopes for it, but if there's one franchise that does actually need a reboot, it's TMNT.

For the record, I liked the first Transformers movie (the Michael Bay one) and am interested in the new one with the Dino Bots. Am I going to pay to see any of this shit? Absolultely not, but it kind of looks like fun, CGI Shrek looking turtles and all. How else are they supposed to look?
