Additionally, the actress who provided the speaking voice for your... panty-wearer, was named Ashley Peldon, who went on to get a degree in Child Psychology and Film, oddly enough.
I wasn't thrilled with some the voice acting (Scott Bakula was only at his best in Quantum Leap IMHO), but it's the closest anyone's come to making a feature-length Warner Bros. cartoon in a very long time.
Emperor's New Groove gets second place in that category.
It's really not that memorable of a film in the story or characters. Everything goes where you expect, and it doesn't do that much with the subtext about typecasting.
It's a cute and really well-animated movie, but it's not much else.
Design wise, I also love this film. From a standpoint of actual character design, the use of style is a perfect mix of throwback and modern for the way the characters move, their facial reactions, etc, are wonderful. This isn't lazy animation by any means.
The movie itself never interested me but technically it is great.
