And really? A british BBT? The IT Crowd is witty, clever and has actual jokes with nearly no references to nerd culture aside from shirts Roy wears. BBT is just a cascade of references and obnoxious humor

I don't have any problem with IT Crowd itself, merely that it's a long way down from Father Ted.

This is not the place for this, but: "The Big Bang Theory" has improved by leaps and bounds from the first couple seasons. The structure of the early seasons was, there's a hot chick that all the guys are pining for (except for the extra-wacky character), and she's a commodity to be obtained. Since then, they've introduced a couple more women to the cast who are each more interesting than any of the guys, and the original commodity chick is no longer effectively a cash prize for the best guy to win.

That said, her name is still "Penny", last name unrevealed.

BBT is still a shitty series of one-liners with horribly unlikable "nerd" caricatures and a "plot" that just walks between locations A, B, and C.

I fucking hate BBT, dumb ass comedy. IT is far more creative and britishy.
