This was the only good Mars movie during that whole Mars movie kick. I've always been mad that this one wasn't the one I saw in the theater.

Which one was the one where they left the black guy there to die, come back and are like "wtf? You're still alive? By planting a garden?!?! Well...guess it is good to see you."

...and like the poster, I also liked the look of this movie. It's the only thing I remember from this one.

It also ended with a fake-looking alien hologram showing the astronauts that life on Earth was started by a Martian game of Civ III or something.

The Sci Fi Original Ripoff movie, Epoch, is actually a better movie about the same thing.

I was with this movie until the whole nematodes thing which basically held science down and murdered it with a power drill.
But I will concede it's a better movie than Mission to Mars.
