Back when I was working at record stores we had to chase off Bobby Keyes' son Huck way too often. He's the scourge of Boston, even the hookers have blacklisted him for phone harassment, that's his thing). The owner of my store had to change his number at least once when I was there to get fucking Huck to stop calling. One guy there (who had a semi debilitating anxiety disorder) had his cat get run over and Huck started calling him that night around midnight, every ten minutes and asking how's your cat" until he changed the number.
When he called the store most people just hung up but the owner had been dealing with Huck so many years he'd gotten to the point where he would very calmly and thoroughly explain to Huck all of the ways that his life was beyond hope and that he should kill himself. It didn't work.
One new guy at a store across town who didn't know any better felt sorry for Huck (he really is a sad person, I understand why you would want to try to help him out if you didn't know any better) and had a long conversation about life and emotional difficulties with him that included some pretty personal disclosures on both sides. Then Huck spent the rest of the day going to all the other stores in town and telling anyone who would listen all of the personal things the guy had revealed in confidence. I'm pretty sure that's the last time anyone was civil to him while I was in that scene.
He used to go on tour sometimes and apparently has hundreds of incredible, one of a kind backstage photos of the Stones in their prime, but when I was dealing with him The Stones all had restraining orders against him. His father has a restraining order against him. Belinda Carlisle has a restraining order against him. A regular at our store who was a process server promised he'd get us a blank form for a restraining order so we could make photocopies, fill them out and send Huck dozens of restraining orders every week for a couple months, but he never delivered on that.
He was a HUGE G.G. Allin fan and had some kind of delusion that by being as mean as possible to everyone he was somehow following in GG's footsteps, but he was too much of a sniveling weasel to even do that right.
Huck is probably the worst person I've ever met. I've met neonazis who were better people than Huck. I'm not even slightly joking.
Anyway, that's pretty much what I think of when I hear any Stones songs with saxophone now.

He's a genuinely tragic person in the abstract but he's one of the rare people who can wear down pretty much anyone's empathy.

I'm not OK with me posting so much, it means I'm spending too much time on the Internet. Which is easy to do, most of the work I've done since 2005 has been done over the Internet so it's just a part of my daily routine now.

Old_Zircon - 2013-06-09 Anyway, I'm working on a SFW (well, PG-13 at any rate, no sex or nudity but still probably not SFW because of the language and pervasive sleaziness and a couple brief shots of men's butts) edit of the movie Female Chauvanists (it's a non budget, 60s porn version of a story from The Decameron where a heroic pornographer pretends to be a deaf mute to infiltrate compound full of evil feminists, with Uschi Digart! It's horrible!) and after I get that done and post it I probably won't be posting nearly as much for a while, I've got a bunch of projects I wanted to finish up months ago.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked the story, I'm here to amuse and be amused.
I used to not post a lot of tangential personal stories but I realized that I usually like it when other people do so maybe I should share some from time to time.
