That just gave me a really great (?) idea!

I found these really cool t-shirts at Urban Outfitters once (before you start, I was there under protest! My girlfriend dragged me there! I swear I don't shop at Urban Outfitters) They were half-and-half t-shirts, two t-shirts, cut across the middle, and then sewn together, making one hybrid chimera t-shirt. One of the t-shirts was this frou frou girly cheerleader shirt. And the other one, was a GWAAAAARRRRR SHIRT. So you had all these cotton candy sparkles on the top half of the shirt, then BOOM. CLAWED FEET O' THE SCUMDOGS STANDING PROUD.

Hear me out, OK, what if I took a shirt with the Mane 6, and sewed their heads onto a shirt with the bodies of GWAR? How cool would that be?

Of course, I'm no bucking Rarity fan, so I don't know the first thing about sewing (and I've got the D+ in 8th grade Sewing class to prove it) But I DO know modding.

So maybe, just maybe, I could combine all THREE things! GWAR, Ponies, and Skyrom! I can make a small scale proof-of-concept for the SCUMPONIES OF EQUESTRIA clothing line, in Skyrim mod form. I'll mock up some designs on photoshop, convert them into a texture, maybe find some modern clothing models... and then when I release some product showcase videos, I can use GWAR's song, Fucking an Animal. Only with the censored bits overdubbed by me shouting BUCKING in my best dovahkiin voice! Oh man oh man this is gonna be so much cooler than that 1:1 scale model of Cloudsdale I was going to build in Minecraft. By at least 20%!

Damn it. Now I'm all brainstorming about my dropped GWAR/MLP fanfic.

First it started off as the group being pleasantly surprised at how ruthless and cruel the ponies are to each other. With them opting out of enslaving them by just blowing up the moon.

Now they obliterate every town but Las Pegasus. Heralding a center for fear, loathing and degenerate ponies. The true force of ponanity!

In short, yes.

Lots of reasons were given, but I think POE red and POEN probably could have survived and lived to see another day if they had been put into the hands of competent people who gave a shit about the years-old community there instead of the MYSTERY SYSOP people who flushed it all down the toilet.

IIRC Chet's official explanation was that the forums were dead, nobody submitted anymore, yet he was still getting regular legal threats from people whose sites were featured even years ago. In this age of 'cyberbullying' paranoia I could see that being a legitimate issue.

I.E. I could totally see people threatening lawsuits against his employers that could be a big PR problem, frivolous or not. That would certainly explain the rationale behind deleting everything instead of just handing it off.

The LJ random image generator threads were fun, as were the Deviant Art "search term safari" posts. I learned more about how broken furries and otherkin are, thanks to those.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I can understand. I was never registered for the forums, but I did submit several sites. One of the last ones, a guy that would come to your house and clean and do chores naked, was a submission of mine.

LJRIG threads singlehandedly kept the forums active for what, a year after everything else was abandoned? Maybe even two years.
