Nibiru, eh? They missed out on an oppurtunity to do a "Scooby Doo Prevents the 2012 Mayan Apocalypse" episode.

BiggerJ - 2013-04-30

It's been theorized that the series was planned to end around that date but the network kept putting the show on hold. At least one of those hiatuses as supposedly due to a contract dispute, but another theory is that at least one was due to the show's content.

*was supposedly

Guess they didn't want Anderson to talk backwards this time?

Jane Error - 2013-04-30

Ah yes, from the rebooted Scooby Doo that endorses rather than debunks the existence of the supernatural.

And why even bother with the homage to Twin Peaks if you're just using it to set the stage for your oh-so-serious re-imagining of fucking *Scooby-Doo* as, I shit you not, the descendant of other-dimensional demi-gods tasked with the protection of all humankind? This is some fanfic-level drek right here.

Mrrhmmm, yes the show about a group of mystery solving kids and their talking dog has taken a turn into the Neo-Dark Ages away from the cold light of rationality, such a waste. Carl Sagan would not approve. :adjusts fedora:

The Annunaki and Nibiru are existing paranormal theories.

This was one weird series.
I think the most unsettling things is when Scooby's girlfriend dog dies and is immediately reanimated and possessed by some kind of ancient spirit guide or whatever. Scooby doesn't seem to give a shit.
