Linus' lumpy, misshapen head is a constant distraction for me.

OK, time to bust out the big guns.
Makes you wonder if maybe there was a ghost writer doing these specials. Who better suited to the task than Charles Bukowski? Like Brown himself, but all grown up and horrible.
Why, it would look something like ...this.

Was anyone else disturbed by Linus's rage at hat-stealing kid? That's not the Peanuts I remember.

Caminante Nocturno - 2013-01-25 Linus' righteous indignation in that scene is the most memorable part of this.

Now post the one where Snoopy is old, his hips are shot, and he is so decrepit they decide to put him down. There's a scene where he's trying to prove he's still young and full of life, so he tries to drag himself across the room with his arms so he can put on his "Joe Cool" sunglasses.
Okay, this cartoon didn't actually happen, as far as I know. But I would watch it.

I remember watching this with my dad as a child. At the big "I have leukemia" reveal my dad involuntarily said "oh shit" in the most emotionally defeated way I'd ever heard. It was as surreal as the episode.

In the next episode, she starts cooking meth. Linus tries to be supportive at first, even subverting his own moral compass to help the woman he loves, but he soon finds himself trapped as her megalomania grows.
