I fucking hate the Westboro Baptist Church and the people that support them. You're either with them or against them.
If you think they're sincere in their message, you're with them. Also, you're kind of dumb. For starters, his anti-gay beliefs sound like a straight person's idea of what an anti gay bigot says. He doesn't believe homosexuality is a choice but does believe it condemns people to hell. That's not a very popular message even among anti-gay bigots.
Also he hates the troops, America, and Christians. That is a message designed to piss as many people off as possible.
Here's four words you won't hear them say: "You're going to hell". They'll talk shit about groups and they'll direct it at you but they don't ever technically engage in what a court would consider a personal attack.
This is all a scam. All of the adults there are lawyers that either entered or exited the same vagina. (Well, I don't think Fred Phelps' wife is a lawyer and he isn't anymore, but you get the drift) They are just waiting for you to punch one of them or deny them a permit to protest so they can sue you. They literally do this full time, going from funeral to funeral. It involves a lot of planning and paperwork to get protest permits for a constant stream of funerals. That's probably a full time job for the person that does it.
It's fun attacking strawmen and they've created the most punchable strawman ever but it's not fucking okay to engage with bullshit beliefs like this was a real fucking protest. If you aren't warning people that this is a scam, you're advertising it.
FUCK YOU. Your heart's in the right place but you're helping these people take money from good people and also they do offensive protests at funerals so please fucking stop.

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-12-19 Apparently you didn't watch the video (where she flat out told the anonymous guy he's going to hell) or visited Godhatesfags.com ten years ago when they had "monuments" to gay people and their families and how wonderful it was that god had killed them. They had a particularly large hardon for Matthew Shepard. They also used to have a list of all the churches that were "fag enabling" churches and stated that all their followers are going to hell.
This woman, and her crazy daughters, also went on the Tyra Banks show once and flat out said that everyone who doesn't belong to their church is going to hell.
I used to agree with you, that the entire church was just a group of trolling lawyers who didn't believe the crap they spouted, until I saw a documentary by that one British guy who does all the documentaries with crazy cults, met up with Westboro and talked to this woman's daughters. They're absolutely batshit insane.
I can agree that Fred and the older leaders in the church are probably just legal trolls, but the younger generations and the kids really do believe this shit. And how could they not? This craps been pounded into their heads from birth and they just don't know anything else.
