For the YT comments.

If those two had babies, those babies would be born grave dirt. Like, literally grave dirt would shoot out her vagina in the delivery room after nine hours of labor.

Imagine a drooling Palin-Kali-Shiavo strapped to an altar giving birth to the Selacious-Crumb-Shiva-Hannity grave dirt fountain for all eternity. The dirt would scream and seek to embed itself in all of our eyes.

Aum-ageddon.

Republicans like some words more than other words! AMERICA IS OVER!

Koda Maja - 2012-12-05

Whenever anyone on Fox News utters the phrase "so in other words...", you know you are in for truly spectacular leaps in logic.

Cena_mark - 2012-12-05

It was really taking Palin a lot effort just to get a coherent thought out.
Nice Lego hair.

Looking forward to victory in 2016. Oh, and fox news trying to attract the Latino vote by eating burritos on air while "la cucharahca" plays in the back ground.

Chocolate Jesus - 2012-12-05

I wonder how people actually define capitalism in this country. Somehow I feel like if everyone was actually using the Marxist definition - one or a few people appropriating the created wealth from workers who are forced to sell their labor or starve - it would be a lot less popular than it even is now.

The same goes for socialism. I've heard what Sarah Palin said, that the crony capitalism is in fact due to the concentration of federal power and thus socialist tendencies, from a lot of conservatives. I think there's something to that. However, they refuse to examine the elephant in the room, which is our military-industrial complex. It's a massive planned economy, plain and simple.

I'm trying to say that it feels like the words we use in political discourse have lost all meaning, and are actively making us dumber.

PegLegPete - 2012-12-05

People like Palin don't know what socialism meant to people who used the term before they were born: worker controlled production - which kinda sounds like democracy when you think about it. In the clip they immediately equate liberty and freedom with capitalism, but I'm skeptical, we don't have any "pure" anything so it's hard to say.

Concentration of federal power is something that tends to lead to some flavor of authoritarianism or totalitarianism. It's not necessarily linked to capitalism or socialism, even communism. I think the real key is "concentration of power" which most people know is a bad idea - even Sarah Palin - and I think it's anti-democratic. It doesn't help that there are also different types of democracy, though, and some people think it doesn't work anyway.

That elephant in the room, if talked about, would expose the hypocrisy in modern, mainstream, political discourse. We have huge state expenditures that go to failing businesses and wasteful industries and still more just to have economic dominance. Don't forget the most obvious: "bailouts". I feel similar. To me it feels like every argument made is based on the "no true scotsman" fallacy.

Stopheles - 2012-12-05

53% support for socialism is "staggering," 55% support for capitalism is negligible.

Discordia - 2012-12-06

Not to mention 1 out of 4 republicans view socialism positively and capitalism negatively.

catpenis27 - 2012-12-06

"The problem with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money", which is the screaming opposite of what we have now? Also Crony Capitalism.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-12-06

Her delivery of that joke was so bad that it made me depressed.
