Old_Zircon - 2012-11-28 COUNTERPOINT: if you watch the whole movie it's painfully obvious that everyone involved is completely out of touch with the youth culture they're trying to relate to. Except Groucho and Nillson, they always get it.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-11-29 According to the legend, Groucho did actually take LSD during the filming of this movie. He described it as "gentle and pleasant", which I find heartwarming in a way. Nilsson, who is always awesome, hadn't started taking LSD yet, and when he finally did, it resulted in "The Point", which isn't on POETV and that is *tragic*.

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-29 I knew Groucho tried acid but I didn't realize it was when he was making this. Also thought Nillson started earlier.
The Point is the only Nillson record I own, apart from a record of big band Nillson covers that has about half a dozen solid breaks on it.
