Once Turner bought Hanna-Barbera, H-B actually started to give a shit about what it produced. Granted, that was happening a few years before Turner in a completely half-assed manner, but it's a visible quality jump from Tom and Jerry Kids, to this.

Of course, a couple of years later Warner Bros just absorbed HB completely. The company died while doing its best work.

This actually was quite a funny show, in defiance of all logic considering it was a Hanna Barbera production made to tie in with a movie. The writers treated it as an extension of the old sitcom (complete with a John Astin-inspired Gomez.) There were also a number of subtle jokes about Cousin Itt's sexual prowess.

That actually was John Astin.

I have no opinions about this show, as I was never allowed to watch it. We were a Munsters household.

I always thought this show was kind of crappy, I never really watched as a kid.

However the end credits are really where its at

The dude blowing the shart at the end always made me laugh:

It was a decent enough cartoon, actually. They got John Astin to do the voice of Gomez, and getting Rip Taylor to do the voice of Fester was fucking genius.
