There was a similar American device called the Health Rider. It had handlebars and basically seemed to simulate grabbing someone by the shoulders and pulling their head towards your thrusting pelvis.

I wish someone had uploaded a late night infomerical I once saw for it. There were a bunch of machines arranged in a kind of bowling-pin formation with unitard-clad fitness amazons on them, doing an exercise and dance routine that reminded me of the Solid Gold-esque dancers from The Running Man.
