So, it turns out that Marathon was actually the first FPS ruined by a console port. I mean, the game is old, but I dunno how easily you could control even a old-school FPS with no shoulder buttons and a control pad.

To be fair, games like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D weren't played with a mouse, so ports of them to a gamepad-based system didn't really hurt them.
