I hate anime as much as the next guy, but damnit, Lupin know how to do things right.

I just liked seeing the words 'Monkey Punch' in a handsome font.

Damn the nsfw, I'm watching this at work and if anyone who sees it over my shoulder doesn't say "They're making a new Lupin movie? Cool!" then I don't want to work here anymore.

You suckas better be following this show, it just started. They went back to the basics with the characters. Very enjoyabe so far.

I once read that Monkey Punch was influenced by Mad magazine artist Mort Drucker.

I don't like much anime but Lupin is definitely the shit. Castle of Cagliostro is still one of my favorite films.

This is the first enjoyable anime in years.

It features an amazing concept for recent anime series: a mature show about adult characters doing mature adult things. OK, we're talking about gambling, stealing, violence, etc. but still.

The problem with a lot of anime these days there's not a lot to watch unless you're into googly-eyed moe crap and bad videogame adaptions and obnoxious meta-parodies where characters make tired anime meta-jokes that were worn-out and stale by 2004 and comment directly to the audience about how ridiculous and cliche the events unfolding onscreen are (while the shows' creators lean very heavily for support on the same tired genre tropes they're supposedly mocking) and more moe crap and more wacky adventures of pissed off psycho girls who can only express their affection for a milquetoast male lead by acting like a violent psycho-bitch.

Why aren't they calling it by its original name, "Cliff Hanger?"

Oscar's gender is a mystery.
