I just found out from this entry that he died. I was a big fan of Daydream Believer. I used to sing it in college karaoke. It was one of my favorite songs.

I love the Monkees too much for a child of the 80s.

There was an 80s revival. Episodes ran on Nickelodeon. I was a big fan too as a kid.

I also watched this on Nick at Night during the 80's as a little kid. I remember thinking the Monkees and the Beatles were the same people.
