Tony Levin is looking downright dapper here. I've seen this movie like a zillion times, and this scene definitely wasn't in it. ???

The uncut version of Dune is actually not that bad except for that horrendously stupid "illustrated history of the Dune universe" thing before the movie that lasts for 15 minutes.
I prefer the extended version, but that's probably because it's the first version I saw back when I was 6 or 7 and caught it on TV.
Stupid or not... without reading the book it was the only way anyone had a hope in hell of figuring out what the fuck was going on in this movie.
