"Secret Society" episode showed me otherwise. No major spoilers, but when Frank line "I'm going to find out what those to are doing... AND FUCK THAT SHIT UP!" sealed it as one of the better shows out there.

It's definitely not as good as his web stuff, but it's fun and has some great lines and gags strewn throughout. Not nearly enough songs or Baby Cakes though.

I'd like to see what he'd do with another season, most shows are weakest in season 1.

I was kinda put off at first, but then I realized it was mostly because the tone of a big(ish) production like China, IL really couldn't have been the same as the charming, loner wit of the stuff he did on his own.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that. "The Heart, She Holler" was the best show on Adult Swim right now. But that's only because Delocated hasn't premired yet... as of this post.

lotsmoreorcs recently posted another China, IL video, which surprised me because I was pretty sure someone mentioned him being dead. So I just straight-up asked him in my usual straight-shootin', zero bullshit, no spin zone way, "Hey man, aren't you dead?"

His response was troublingly indirect.
