Pity the video's only around a minute long. I could watch something like this for ages. Any idea how he built his aquariumfarm? I'd like to replicate it.

SolRo - 2012-01-27 expensive specialised "soil" for the plants to grow in, a CO2 system so the plants can grow, careful planting of specially ordered plants (that shit isn't sold at petco), high output lighting (again, not from petco).
Couple months to let it all fill in, add fish, shrimp, etc, montitor PH, disolved CO2, iron levels, etc, etc.
This one might not, but most planted aquariums require constant trimming to keep them managable.

I found some more info here about these "nano aquariums"

SolRo - 2012-01-27 this is not a nano aquarium, it's a planted aquarium, probably 20 or 40 gallons in size.
nano aquarium usually refers to 6 gallons or smaller.
